Friday’s Credit Tip #14: Don’t Make the Mistake of Thinking that You Only Have One Credit Report

Most people speak of having a “credit report” when in fact most people have at least three or more reports, and these reports can vary widely.

Plus, some larger lenders calculate their own credit score based on information in your credit reports.

When repairing your credit report, you should not focus on only one report. At the very least, you need to contact the three major credit bureaus and work on repairing the three credit reports separately.
