Finally a month without rental repairs!

It’s about freaking time! Every month in 2013 we’ve experienced rental repairs except August. I don’t count January, because we had some vacant units that were in the process of getting ready and we paid the bill at the end of December.

Don’t believe me…

Here is a report from 4 of the 5 rental properties we have, rental number 5 is vacant until 9/1/2013, look how much we bring in when we don’t have a repair eating away at profits!

Maybe this stroke of luck came because we paid off Sallie Mae? Or Maybe it was because we got robbed in the 25th hour on rental property number 6? Hmm… I don’t care, I just want more 0 repair months!

  • Repairs can be a pain especially when you’re not prepared for them. I’ve insured all my properties so that the insurance pays for as much of the bills as possible. I’ve hired a handyman who specializes in seeing potential repairs and then patches things up, these two measures have helped significantly. Good luck on your endevors.
